Social media marketing practice accounts: the course kit in one table

Every social media marketing course hits the same lesson: learners need a brand to watch you run, an audience to moderate and roles to pass around, and personal profiles cannot play every part. Social media marketing practice accounts fill that gap when the instructor holds every login and nothing leaves a closed space. This guide is for bootcamps and training companies teaching adults: three layers of seats, the tools to try first, and a 20-learner cohort priced line by line.

Planning an intake? Send your learner count and platforms to @nexkyc on Telegram or +1 (737) 307-6751 on WhatsApp, and we will size the kit with you.

The layers: demo seats the instructor runs on the projector, cast seats that play the members and commenters learners moderate and ban inside the lab, and admin-drill seats that gain and lose roles.

Before you buy: simulators, learners’ own accounts and Meta’s sandbox

Paid social belongs in a simulator. Stukent’s Social Media Simternship gives students a simulated budget of over 100,000 dollars across 12 rounds, paired with Stukent’s Essentials of Social Media Marketing courseware, which covers Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. Instructor access is free, and student access is priced per student. No bought account in this kit should ever run a live campaign.

Meta’s sandbox teaches the API, not the screen. Meta’s Marketing API sandbox ads are never delivered and need no funding source, but Meta said sandbox accounts do not appear in Ads Manager and only one can be created, which suits a developer module.

Solo posting can use learners’ own accounts. An adult can practice captions and scheduling on a profile they already have. They cannot invent a class persona: Meta’s terms allow one account under the name you use in everyday life, and Facebook’s Help Center says additional profiles can no longer be created. Bought Facebook seats breach that rule too.

What remains are three jobs none of these options covers: several actors in one closed space, a practice account kept out of public view, and seats on platforms that want a phone number per account. If the budget allows one line, make it the Telegram cast and trainee seats, New (Fresh PVA) at $3.50 from the Telegram accounts page.

Ground rules for a course sandbox: adults, closed spaces, no live ads

  1. Adults only. Platform floors run from 13 on Facebook and Snapchat to 18 for Telegram users in the EU, the UK and Australia, but bought seats go to adult cohorts only, never classes with minors.
  2. Closed spaces only. Private groups, private or protected profiles, Private Stories and invite-only Telegram groups. No seat joins a public community, follows a real person, messages anyone outside the lab or reacts to anything public.
  3. No fictional brand in public. Anything that must be visible, like a Facebook Page, carries your training company’s name and says it is for practice.
  4. No live ads from bought accounts.
  5. The instructor holds every credential in a password manager and signs seats in on lab devices.
  6. Tell learners the truth: these are instructor-held test accounts, bought against platform terms, that a platform can disable at any time, so no graded work lives only inside one. Learners’ own accounts never join, follow or message a bought seat.
  7. Check your institution’s acceptable-use policy first, and name cast seats by role and number, such as Lab Member 07, never after a real person.

Grade follows the job: Fresh PVA for cast seats, aged grades only for demo, owner and backup-admin seats. Whether buying accounts is lawful varies by country, and our overview of the legal position shows where real exposure begins. None of this is legal advice.

Telegram: build the moderation lab

Telegram treats each phone number as a separate account, so asking 20 learners to register personal numbers for one module is a poor trade.

Keep the lab group private, with no public t.me link, and admit seats by invite link. Then drill:

  • Scoped admin rights. Promote a trainee seat with only the privileges a task needs, such as adding users, managing messages, blocking members or editing group info, then revoke them.
  • Partial restrictions. Put a cast member in read-only mode, or stop it sending stickers or media for a set period.
  • Bans by bot. Add an admin bot that imposes temporary or permanent bans based on member actions, one you register with @BotFather and program through the Bot API.
  • Role swap. Halfway through, cast and admins trade places.

For a live brand community rather than a lab, see our Telegram community and support team stack.

Cast and trainee seats use New (Fresh PVA) at $3.50, one per learner, and EU + SEA Mix at $3 is cheaper when member location plays no part. The lab group itself is owned by the lead instructor’s or a staff member’s own Telegram account. Aged 90-Day with Username at $14, two per lab, supplies a full-rights backup admin and the owner of the lab’s bot. Orders start at 5 on the Telegram accounts page.

Facebook: Page access drills and a private moderation group

The practice Page teaches access types. Full control adds Page settings and the power to give or remove access. Partial control manages the Page without those two. Task access works through tools such as Meta Business Suite or Ads Manager, without switching into the Page. Run these drills on your training company’s own practice Page, owned by a staff member’s real profile, with no bought account holding access. Learners receive partial control or task access on their own profiles and lose it after the drill. Never boost the Page.

The private group holds the comment drills. Set it to private, so only members see posts and who belongs, and hidden, so only current, invited and former members can find it. No learner’s own profile joins. Cast seats publish scripted rule-breaking posts with no live links. The owner seat makes half of them moderators, pairs work those seats on lab devices, removing members, banning them and deleting their recent activity, and then the halves swap.

Aged 90-Day at $13 runs the group, two per course: an owner and a backup admin, so one checkpoint does not stall a session. Fresh PVA at $3 covers cast and moderator seats, ten for 20 learners in pairs. BM-Eligible (Ads-Ready) at $60 is optional, for walking through a business portfolio on the projector with every campaign left unpublished; name a single unit in your order message and confirm it. Orders start at 5 on the Facebook accounts page.

Instagram: a private practice account and commenter seats

Instagram’s Help Center says business profiles cannot be made private, so a practice account switched to a business account goes public. Keep it a private personal account for posting, caption, Stories and reply drills, and show professional dashboards on your company’s own real account. Its photo and bio stay visible even while private, so both should name your company’s practice lab.

Aged 3-Month at $14 is the practice account, 90 days old in USA / EU stock. Fresh PVA at $3.99 seats request to follow it, get approved, and leave scripted comments that learners answer or delete. Ten cover 20 learners in pairs.

Skip two grades. Aged 1-Year+ at $40 buys history a private account never shows anyone, and Niche-Warmed (Custom) at $12 needs 50 units and arrives following accounts in a vertical, the opposite of a closed lab. Order Aged 3-Month and Fresh PVA on the Instagram accounts page, where orders start at 5.

X and Snapchat: protected reply drills and Story previews

X. Protect every practice handle. X’s Help Center says protected posts are visible only to followers, new followers need approval, and replies from a protected account show only to its followers. Once only class handles follow the practice handle, the instructor posts a scripted complaint from a cast handle, other cast handles reply in turn, and learners answer from the practice handle. Cast handles are Fresh PVA at $3.50, five per cohort, and the protected practice handle the instructor holds is Aged 1-Year at $12. Orders start at 5 on the X (Twitter) accounts page.

Snapchat. A Private Story lets its creator choose exactly which friends can view it, so one preview seat posts a class draft to a Private Story shared with the other seats, learners check crop, text placement and pacing on lab phones, and seats swap test Snaps. Preview seats are Fresh PVA at $3.50, five per cohort, and Aged 30-Day at $10 is an optional instructor account for posting the class Private Story from the projector phone. Snap’s terms bar buying, selling, renting or leasing account access, so these seats carry a plain disable risk. Orders start at 5 on the Snapchat accounts page.

LinkedIn: where bought practice accounts earn the least

LinkedIn’s User Agreement says the service is not for anyone under 16, that members keep one account in their real name, and that no one may create a profile for someone else or share or transfer an account. Learners should practice on their own real profiles.

Teach Page admin roles on your training company’s own real Page. Super admin holds every permission, including adding and removing admins and deactivating the Page. Content admin creates and manages posts, boosting and events. Analyst monitors performance through analytics. Learners receive Content admin or Analyst on their own profiles and lose it at course end.

The single optional line is Shell (Empty Profile) at $9, an instructor-held viewer with no Page role and no connections, which shows the projector what a signed-in non-follower sees of your company Page. LinkedIn orders start at 3, so that line is $27 on the LinkedIn accounts page, and most courses should skip it.

Worked build: a 20-learner cohort kit priced at list

The cohort: 20 adult learners in pairs, five social platforms plus Gmail control inboxes, one instructor.

That comes to $13.37 per learner. The optional LinkedIn line, 3 × $9 = $27, brings the kit to $294.40.

Each product clears its minimum of 5, but the aged Telegram, Facebook, Instagram and X lines sit below 5 on their own, so name them in your order message and confirm them before paying.

Telegram seats are one per learner, Facebook and Instagram cast seats one per pair, and the X and Snapchat seats are shared by the class. Seats a platform has not disabled carry into the next intake, so later orders cover only disabled seats. These are list prices. Send the whole kit as one list and request the full-order rate.

Delivery-day checks and the end-of-cohort reset

Replacement covers every grade for 7 days after delivery: tell us which login failed and we swap it, with no screen recording or ticket. So test on delivery day, not the first lab day. Each account arrives in a delivery file with its login credentials and recovery details.

On delivery day:

  1. Sign in to every account and report any login that fails.
  2. Store credentials in the instructor’s password manager by platform, layer and seat number.
  3. Change passwords, and set a two-step verification password on Telegram seats.
  4. Secure the Gmail control inboxes, then point each account’s recovery email at one of them.
  5. On every aged seat, replace the delivered name, photo and bio with your company’s practice-lab details, and remove any friends, followers and follows it arrived with.
  6. Rename cast seats by role and number, and make every practice space private before learners join.

If an account opens to a restriction instead, the locked-account recovery playbook shows what to check first.

At cohort end, remove every learner’s Page access, revoke moderator and Telegram admin rights, rotate every password, clear practice posts, comments, Stories and chats, and reorder only the seats a platform disabled.

Control inboxes are Mix Old (2023-2014) at $2.50, five per kit and kept for the next intake unless disabled, and a single-intake kit can use New (Fresh PVA) at $1. Both are on the Gmail accounts page.

Ordering a course practice kit from MixAcc

Build this kit in one message rather than the site cart, since the cart starts every line at the product minimum and several kit lines are smaller. Copy the worked-build table, one line per platform, variant and quantity, add your learner count, and message it to @nexkyc on Telegram or +1 (737) 307-6751 on WhatsApp, or email allmixacc@gmail.com.

Before you order:

  • Minimums are 5 on Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat and Gmail, and 3 on LinkedIn. Confirm smaller lines in your message.
  • The kit figures are list prices; request a full-order rate before paying.
  • Payment is crypto or card against an invoice.
  • Your delivery file carries credentials and recovery details for every account, and a 7-day replacement window from delivery applies to every grade.

Keep the kit inside three limits: adult learners, closed spaces, and ads practice in a simulator. When graduates move on to client work, our account stack for social media agencies covers what changes.

Questions we get a lot

Can students practice social media marketing without using their personal accounts?
For solo posting, an adult learner's own account is usually fine, and it is the one employers will look at. Drills that need several actors, such as moderation, bans and role changes, need accounts no learner owns. An instructor-held kit supplies them: cast seats that receive the practice bans learners hand out inside the lab group, demo seats for the projector and admin-drill seats, all inside private spaces. Every seat breaches platform terms, including Meta's one-account rule, and can be closed at any time. Learners keep personal accounts out of the lab and never receive a password.
Should a social media course use a simulator or real accounts?
Use each for a different job. Paid social belongs in a simulator: Stukent's Social Media Simternship gives students a simulated budget of over 100,000 dollars across 12 rounds, so no live ad spend or real audience is involved. Instructor access is free, and student access is priced per student. Real accounts earn a place only where a simulator cannot reproduce the task, such as a Telegram moderation lab or checking how a Story looks on an actual phone. Keep bought accounts away from live ads. For the moderation lab, New (Fresh PVA) Telegram seats at $3.50, one per learner, are the first line to buy.
How do students practice Facebook ads without spending money?
Run the ads module in a classroom simulator. Meta's Marketing API sandbox ad accounts deliver nothing and need no funding source, but when Meta launched them it said they do not appear in Ads Manager and only one can be created, so they suit a developer lesson rather than a lesson on the Ads Manager screen. To show a business portfolio's structure on the projector, a BM-Eligible (Ads-Ready) Facebook account at $60 can hold it with every campaign left unpublished. Facebook orders start at 5, so name a single BM-Eligible line in your order message and confirm it.
How many practice accounts does a class of 20 learners need, and what does a kit cost?
The kit in this guide uses 61 accounts: 22 Telegram, 12 Facebook, 11 Instagram, 6 X, 5 Snapchat and 5 Gmail control inboxes. At list prices that is $267.40, or $13.37 per learner, and an optional LinkedIn line adds $27. Telegram seats are one per learner, Facebook and Instagram cast seats one per pair, X and Snapchat seats are shared by the class, and seats a platform has not disabled carry into the next intake after a reset. Later cohorts need a new order only for disabled seats; the 7-day replacement covers logins that fail in the first week after delivery, not seats disabled later. Send your learner count to @nexkyc on Telegram and ask for the full-order rate.
How do I teach Telegram moderation without a real audience?
Build a private lab group that seats join only by invite link, owned by the lead instructor's or a staff member's own Telegram account. Two instructor-held Aged 90-Day with Username seats at $14 act as a full-rights backup admin and the owner of the lab's admin bot. Promote trainee seats with specific privileges, such as managing messages or blocking members, and have cast seats post scripted rule-breaking messages with no live links. Learners put cast members in read-only mode, stop them sending media, and use the bot for temporary or permanent bans. Cast and trainee seats use New (Fresh PVA) at $3.50, one per learner.
Can practice accounts be given to learners under 18?
No. Facebook and Snapchat set 13 as their minimum age, LinkedIn sets 16, and Telegram requires users in EU countries, the United Kingdom and Australia to be at least 18. A platform floor is not the standard for bought seats, though. The kit in this guide is for adult cohorts at bootcamps and training companies only, never high-school, CTE or other classes that include minors. Even with adults, the instructor keeps every login, and learners are told the seats are test accounts that a platform can disable.
Can practice accounts be reused for the next cohort?
Most of them, if you reset the kit between intakes. Remove every learner's Page access, revoke moderator and Telegram admin rights, rotate each password, and clear practice posts, comments and chats before the next group arrives. Seats a platform has not disabled then carry forward, and you reorder only what a platform disabled. Mix Old (2023-2014) Gmail inboxes at $2.50 suit control inboxes you keep across intakes, while New (Fresh PVA) at $1 suits a kit you plan to retire after one intake. Gmail orders start at 5.
Is buying accounts for a training course legal?
Whether the purchase itself is lawful depends on where you are, but it runs against platform terms that tie an account to its owner. Snap's terms bar buying, selling, renting or leasing account access, and LinkedIn's bar sharing or transferring an account, so any seat in the kit can be closed. Keep the exposure small: adults only, closed spaces, no live ads, no impersonation, and no graded work that exists only inside a bought seat. Check your institution's acceptable-use policy as well. This is general information, not legal advice.
