What each tier has already been tested against
The tiers differ by how much verification we have done in advance, not by the mailbox. Every account is a genuine US .edu with working credentials.
Starter (Inbox-Only), $7. A real US .edu inbox with IMAP and SMTP access. No perk promise at this price, since eligibility depends entirely on the source university. It fits verification-only work: Unidays, Student Beans, the occasional Spotify Student trial.
Premium (Amazon + GitHub), $16. The default choice for most buyers. Each account clears Amazon Prime Student and GitHub Student Pack approval before listing, and the drop carries a student ID card of the type GitHub asks to see.
All Perks Pack, $29. A Premium account checked additionally against JetBrains, Spotify, Apple Edu and Adobe Creative Cloud Student activation. Worth it if you intend to switch everything on at once.
Top 50 University, $55. You name the institution: MIT, Harvard, Stanford, UCLA. Stock is limited, approval rates are the highest we track, and the addresses survive longest. Research-grant portals and institutional whitelists justify the price.
Tier-by-tier detail sits in our walkthrough on buying .edu addresses in volume, and the developer side is unpacked in this teardown of the GitHub Student Pack.
Where the real return on a .edu sits
A .edu purchase is never really about the mailbox. It is about which perks the address unlocks, and one dwarfs the rest.
Amazon Prime Student is the usual first stop and worth having: roughly $360 in savings across four years, plus six months free at the start. The GitHub Student Developer Pack operates on another scale, bundling over $100,000 in developer tooling. JetBrains All-Products at $649 a year retail headlines it, followed by $200 in DigitalOcean credit, Canva Pro at $120 a year, $200 of MongoDB credit, $100 of Microsoft Azure, a Namecheap domain, a Bootstrap Studio license and roughly fifty smaller items.
If you write code, dabble in it, or keep infrastructure running for a side project, a $16 Premium .edu returns more per dollar than anything else we sell.
Inside the delivery
Orders arrive as one encrypted Telegram drop. Each account includes:
- The .edu address itself and its password
- IMAP and SMTP credentials for direct mailbox access
- Recovery email, creation date and the originating university
- Premium orders and up add a student ID card rendered in the source school’s layout
- On the All Perks Pack, confirmation from our own testing that each headline perk activates cleanly
Premium costs $16 rather than the $8 to $10 charged by sellers who ship untested stock, because we put every Premium .edu through an Amazon Prime Student signup before it is listed and swap out the failures before a buyer sees them.
Stretching the remaining lifespan
US universities usually cut off alumni .edu addresses one to four years after the student leaves, so treat the mailbox as a window rather than a permanent asset. Naming the original enrollment year is our part of that. The rest is setup.
- Turn on forwarding immediately. Most university portals allow auto-forwarding to an outside address. Set it up first, so renewal notices from JetBrains, Adobe and the rest reach a mailbox you control.
- Keep every activation confirmation. Amazon Prime Student, GitHub Pro and Canva activations stay valid after the .edu goes offline, provided you still hold the proof.
- Renew annual perks early. JetBrains re-verifies once a year. Push the renewal through before your address expires and you gain another full year.
Premium addresses typically carry 12 to 36 months of remaining life. Top 50 University runs longest, commonly 3 to 5 years.
Specific schools and regional requests
Our sourcing covers more than 80 US universities, and a named-school request is quoted individually over Telegram. UK .ac.uk mailboxes exist too, where the target is Unidays, Student Beans or another UK-only program, and Canadian or Australian .edu equivalents can be arranged on request.

Student-discount stackers
You push one address through verification gateways like Unidays and Student Beans, then keep the resulting discounts running across retail and streaming. Volume matters more here than perk depth, so most stackers take Starter (Inbox-Only) at $7 and handle activation themselves. Minimum order is 1, which lets you test a single address against your target program before you commit to a batch. The published ladder steps the unit price down at 25, 100 and 500.
Cloud credit claimers
Your target is the credit block inside the GitHub Student Developer Pack: DigitalOcean, Azure, MongoDB. Those credits get claimed once per account, so a failed activation costs you the account, not an hour. Premium (Amazon + GitHub) at $16 is the fit, because GitHub Student Pack approval is cleared before the account is listed and the student ID image ships in the same drop. Claim early and you stay well inside the 7-day replacement window.
Software license buyers
You are after seats: JetBrains All-Products, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Notion, Canva Pro. Each vendor re-checks the address on its own terms, so one failed approval breaks the batch you planned around. All Perks Pack at $29 covers that case, since JetBrains, Spotify, Apple Edu and Adobe activation are verified on top of the Premium testing. Take the 25 step on the ladder when you are licensing a small team rather than one workstation.
Research and database access
Journal gateways, dataset portals and grant systems look at the domain behind the address, not just the .edu suffix, and plenty of them limit entry to a whitelist of recognized institutions. Top 50 University at $55 is the tier that answers this, because you name the school and receive an address from MIT, Harvard, Stanford or UCLA. Stock runs thin and each named school is priced on its own, so send the institution over Telegram before you plan the run.
